I received my order of Glace, with a sample of Alfa Donna, in a timely manner. I didn't write down the dates, so I don't know exactly how long it took to arrive. However, I hadn't gotten anxious about it before it got here (checking the mail often in anticipation, yes; anxious that it was taking too long, no), so I'm sure it can't have been more than two weeks.
Unfortunately, my kids opened the package and got into it before I even knew it had arrived, but from what I could tell, it looks as though it had been nicely packaged in bubble wrap, and nothing had leaked. I don't know whether there was any information (in particular, about the sample) included, since I didn't get to check the package myself before my little ones had taken everything out and scattered it. And I am terrible at identifying the scents of particular flowers, so I don't know which version the Alfa Donna sample was... but it was very floral and lovely!
I loved the Glace bottle, too. It's understated and classy--and I appreciate that it doesn't have a label that screams, "pheromones!" The light scent was intriguing; in the bottle, it seemed a little too masculine for me, but on my skin, it really works. It also seems to play well with other scents, not clashing at all with my vanilla or "green" fragrances, and it definitely goes well with Alfa Donna in a floral scent.
My results:
Two "trial-sized" spritzes of Alfa Donna (unknown floral scent), one on each side of my neck (under my hair).
Me: more confident, flirty
Husband: flirty, attentive, sexually aggressive
Other Men: took notice, but kept their distance while husband was around
Other Women: one negative reaction, otherwise friendly and patient
When I sprayed this on, I immediately felt prettier, less focused on my individual physical "flaws" and more on my overall attractiveness. I felt more confident, and that made me want to flirt a bit! I loved the scent, too.
But as much as I liked it, I was a little concerned that my husband might hate it, because he has never liked any flowery perfumes on me (I can't even use lavender shampoo or lotion if I want him to snuggle close).
Practically the second my husband got within range, he had his nose buried in my neck and hair, telling me that my "new perfume" smelled so good on me. I felt like he wanted to "breathe me in."![Heart]( "Heart")
After that, all afternoon when I would leave the room, a few moments later, he would follow. I needed to run an errand, and he offered to come with me. He opened doors for me, placed his hand on my lower back more often, and was generally flirty and focused on me. Even when it was unnecessary, he stayed close, and I noticed that he generally placed himself between me and any men who were nearby.
He also responded to my flirting with touch, which later that night led to the bedroom! There, he was unpleasantly grabby and pushy at first, until I stepped away and told him I didn't like that kind of roughness; he toned it down and it was... wow!![Sun bespectacled]( "Sun bespectacled")
Of course, I suspect it was more the pheromones than the scent that caused such a great reaction, but I'm also glad to know I can wear a floral scent that he'll like--as long as it's Alfa Donna!![Dance]( "Dance")
When we were out, other men generally threw me some glances and friendly smiles, but kept their distance, as husband was not about to give them any opportunity to move in (not that I'm complaining! lol).
Women didn't get too close, either, but did give me friendly smiles in passing. Also, at one point, a girl (18-20ish) was standing in the middle of an aisle where I needed to get through. My husband was at the other end of the aisle, just past her--I don't know if she noticed him or not. I approached and (nicely, I thought) said, "Excuse me." She had an irritated look on her face as she stepped out of my way, and then after I passed by, she watched husband approach and put his arm around me, and then she huffed (or snorted or whatever you want to call that sound) and rolled her eyes at us. Husband didn't even notice, as he was asking me a question, so I just ignored her.
Later, the four ladies (ages late 30's to mid-50's) at the checkout and the cashier (age mid-40's) were all relaxed and patient even though they had to wait on us because I'd forgotten to get an item.
Overall, I love the effects and I'm planning to purchase the full size Alfa Donna once I have enough in my budget to do so!
Notes on Glace:
I'm enjoying Glace for the self-effects, but I don't think I've found the right "dosage" for the best effects on others yet. Up to 3 sprays, my husband was still the only one noticeably affected, perhaps because he regularly gets closer to me than anyone else. At 4 sprays (one on each wrist, two on torso), I did begin to see a bit more friendliness and talkative moods from others, and yesterday, 4 sprays definitely made one lady VERY talkative, so I'll be trying out 5 sprays soon to see what results I get, and then I'll post a more detailed review.
I'll also try and post soon about Glace and Alfa Donna used together--great results there!
