application method

I was searching through the forum and ran into some tip Terry gave about the application method of mones...
I'm looking for it now and I can't find it.

What is the best method to apply the mone? The way I do it... I pour a drop or two into my palm, and then with my index finger I tap the pool and then rub it over the application point.
Should I rub it ? or just tap the area only once?
