Has anyone felt that they were weak or just plain ran out of energy while wearing any particular products?
When I look back in my logbook, it is funny to see that I have worn all kinds of stuff to hot yoga that (for various reasons; energy drain, becoming a putrid stench, wrong vibe) I would not consider using now.
A-1, Cohesion, AV, Core, etc.. Got some great attention grabbing results, but, that is worthless if you smell like you pissed yourself...
I eat healthy and am in great physical shape. I have kept a "boxers" body for years, meaning I don't allow myself to get too muscular anymore. I know that I don't have a boxers endurance anymore, but, up until about six months ago, I was still sparring and doing three minute rounds: I have a mostly Muay Thai background (sparring with Kenpo BBs some over the last two years). I take a Testosterone shot each week. I jog regularly or use my elliptical type of machine to clear out the heart and lungs, but, less, now that I do yoga regularly.
Good sleep and alcohol are my weaknesses. I keep the alcohol usage in check fairly well, but, getting a good night's sleep is still a fight. I know all of the things that are supposed to help with sleep but don't practice them enough; stimulation like TV or computer before / too close to bedtime,
a regular routine, stopping caffeine intake early enough in the day, etc.
Regardless, after Christmas, my endurance in hot yoga fell drastically.
I didn't go unhealthy over the holidays. Christmas day I did, and that was it.
The only change in my routine that I can positively identify is: I received and began using Nude (at yoga and outside of yoga some, as well) at the same time that my endurance went to shit.
But to complicate that fact, well, I have been using Nude Alpha for over two months now and regularly as a stand-alone in yoga.
I know that I have heard particular molecules discussed that tend to make
some people tired (besides just A-1). I think none gets some people tired?
I wish I wrote it down. Anyhow, would anyone be able to help me troubleshoot the possibility that there is something in my Nude (and perhaps other products) that is really not conducive to being used during a somewhat anaerobic workout? I was making it through most of these 75 minute classes without needing any breaks other than what is normally allotted, for the most part. After Christmas, I would begin the class very strong, and then, at 3/4s to as quickly as 2/5s through the class, I would just completely run out of energy. I often try to continue (have to rest or I will pass out; I can feel it) after resting a bit, but, when the energy is gone, there is no more. Complete energy drain...
Really stumps me because I have not changed anything else.
Several people have suggested my hydration: I sweat like a pig. There is a lake around my matt and I am soaked and in a puddle. I just do not know how to hydrate any better and have not changed anything from how I hydrated before Christmas... The over 100 degree plus humid conditions of hot yoga are killing me and I keep beating my head against the wall to conquer it. I have even tried going every day (once I did twice a day; it killed me) to see if I could increase my endurance. No luck.
Could Nude be affecting me somehow? My build-up of various other mones? I suspect I should stop using it, but, I have a real babe on my hook, so... She even told me that she was bummed that I left after a day recently when I ran out of steam...
Perhaps I need to man-up and try going moneless... Please, tell me no...
