I think we all know how amazing Wolf is in creating the VIP/Amazing guy respect/status vibe, but I really wanted to share my experiences with this on the last 2 times I've been stopped for speeding.
The first time was driving back from Philly to NY, wearing Wolf and Glace. I sped up to pass a wild bus and I was caught about 15-20mph over the speed limit by NYPD Highway patrol. For those who don't know NYPD is very VERY strict, and as a matter of fact officers only get those positions who have a proven track record of writing tickets. So anyway the officer approaches me asks for my license and registration, and then talks to me about why I was speeding. I am polite and apologetic, and he seems to respect me very well. He goes back to his cruiser and tells me to hang tight, which means to me he is writing me a ticket. He comes back a few minutes later and says, "hey just slow down".....I'm shocked I didn't get a ticket. Anyhow I didn't think much of it, maybe I was just lucky.
Last week I was driving from Miami to Orlando, and unfortunately I rented a Mercedes SLK.....I knew I was going to get caught for speeding. Anyhow I have faith in my Bel radar detector, as it has saved me threw thousands of potential tickets. I drove at about 100mph for most of the trip, a few FHP cars along the way.....picked them up easily on my radar detector. About 20 miles South of Orlando, going about 100mph my radar starts beeping "Ka band" ouch....thats a FHP car somewhere....I slam on the brakes down to 80mph and transition into the right lane. Next thing I knew it, there he was pulling out of the bushes to chase me down. I looked down at my speed and I'm shocked he's chasing me for going 80mph in a 70mph zone. I pull over quickly in a safe area by the U turn area in the center of the Turnpike. I was wearing just Wolf this time. I began apologizing and explaining how my speed was a little faster as I was simply trying to pass another vehicle safely. Once again the officer seemed very respectful toward me, looks over my paperwork and tells me to sit tight. I was able to give him a good Wolf hit, as I had the car sealed with Wolf for like 2 hours. Anyway he went back to his cruiser, and a few minutes later he came back to my car and said "just slow down a little sir".
So I'm really believing that Wolf can help avoid speeding tickets..
