Hey everyone, it's been a nightmarish couple of days, and I want to offer my sincerest apologies for the forum being down, but it's finally back online!
PheroTruth was the latest casualty in a string of attacks spanning numerous websites related to pheromones, and it took involvement from senior system administrators at the datacenter, as well as nearly the entire staff of CloudFlare including the CEO to finally resolve the issue and mitigate the attack.
The good news is that I will be trying to contact all of the other companies that have been hit by this attack or are still under attack and letting them know what we did to stop it, and with the measures we've taken we should be protected from just about everything less than a nuclear strike.
The email system is still unavailable, as that was a potential gateway for initiating a new attack or continuing the ongoing one, but that will be rectified tomorrow.
Again, I want to apologize for the down time, and for any of you who happened to see the initial suspension page shown when the site was initially taken off line, that one's entirely on me, as it didn't occur to me that the text on the page needed to be changed before taking the domain offline, only that it needed to be taken offline so the server would remain responsive and we could work on stopping the attack.
