An idea popped into my head recently about mass coordinated testing adventure. Many of us have similar products and perhaps once every few weeks or so a day will be named for a mass testing. Maybe we can tease out a few hidden nuances or shades of existing new and old products that have been undiscovered in solo tests or reviews. Participation is way optional but may be a bit of fun. Who knows..
The premise makes sense that people on the same page can communicate more efficiently. When one is wearing a product and has an experience fresh and clean in their heads, others chiming in with ideas, observations, and reviews can trigger possible aha moments that were once unobserved. "Hey that happened to me today/recently/before I remember that now."
The Greek phalanx is defined as a rectangular mass military formation, usually composed entirely of heavy infantry armed with spears, pikes, sarissas, or similar weapons. In Greek texts, the phalanx may be deployed for battle, on the march, even camped, thus describing the mass of infantry or cavalry that would deploy in line during battle. They used shields to block others from getting in. They marched forward as one entity, crushing opponents.
A few of us have already taken positions on the front lines of this so far and for fun we will be testing AV tomorrow June 7, 2012. All participants are welcome and your experiences and reviews will be appreciated.
Any ideas, comments, or just merely saying this is a stupid idea are encouraged. Thx.
